Biography

Dario Pastorino, singer-songwriter, composer, actor, director and creative director was born in August 1990 in the province of Salerno. From an early age he showed a strong propensity for entertainment disciplines. The years of training are characterized by an incessant succession of study and strict discipline, as well as participation in events, shows and festivals. In 2007, under the guidance of Carolina Martucci, he approached the study of soul music. Alongside his musical training, he then added the study of jazz and classical dance under the guidance of maestro Guy de Box. In 2009 he moved to Rome where he enrolled in the faculty of architecture. In 2012, just a few exams away from graduating in architecture, he passed the audition at the “S. Cecilia” Conservatory in Rome. He therefore abandons university and returns to dedicate himself to his true passion, music. In 2015, almost for fun, he was proposed for the Rai drama "Un Passo dal Cielo 3". A new passion was born which led him to also take acting lessons.
In 2017 he enrolled at the “Saint Louis” College of Music in Rome where he was followed by vocal coach Susanna Stivali. In the same year he made a short musical film in which he tackles the thorny topic of the end of life. It is an entirely self-produced project, entitled "Tutto nella vita", which sees him direct/protagonist with his grandmother. In 2019, fascinated by the mechanisms behind the scenes, he supported a theater directing internship with the actor and director Pino Strabioli, participating in the theater show "Spettattori" by Michael Frayn. He also takes part in the internship on "Classical Greek Theatre" held by the International Theater Academy of Rome. In 2021 Dario is Maxence, protagonist of the photo novel “Vin, amour et jalousie” for the magazine “Nous Deux”, France. In 2022 he is at the S.Carlo theater in the role of Clotaldo, with the show "La vita è dream" by Pedro Calderón del la Barca, directed by Luciano Melchionna. In May 2023 he was Sasà in the short film "Dolce Storm", where he covered not only the role of actor but also director, music composer, screenwriter, set designer and creative director. The short film also contains his first single, entitled "Raccontami di lei".
